Well, another boring post with no pictures, but feel I have neglected to write something long enough ;).
The house is becoming a little less chaos which is nice. We had new carpet put in on Friday on the stairs and all three bedrooms upstairs. With the fresh paint, new carpet and all the cleaning we have been doing (or cleaning Brandon has been doing I should say, since I HATE to clean!), the house is almost like new!
I have slowly been pulling things out of closets and drawers and getting rid of things or in most cases just trying to find new homes. I have a tendency to find an empty drawer or nook in a closet and just throw things in it. So, you never know what you are going to find!!
My main objective has been to tackle the nursery first so that we can get all things non-baby related out and make room for all the new things we have coming. We are getting there. Problem is I get worn out so quick, so just have to take little steps, but that is ok. We still have plenty of time.
I promise to post some pictures soon. But right now all you will see is piles of junk :)

Chaos
Chaos defines my house right now. Of course it is driving me nuts, but I know it is all for a good cause, and at least we are on track to getting some things accomplished. Brandon finished painting the 3rd bedroom upstairs yesterday, so now we have finally officially painted every room in our house now - no more painter's white! (unless of course you look in the closets) - only took us 7 years, but oh well ;) Next on the to-do list is new carpet upstairs. That is going to be a chore. We are going to have to clean out all of the rooms so that they can take up the old and put down the new. Hence why the chaos is only going to get worse before it gets better. My hope is that we can accomplish this by Thanksgiving, so that then we can finally start to get everything situated and ready for baby girl!

Progress....
It hit me today, and that as of Tuesday, we will only be 15 weeks away from meeting our little girl! Even less if she comes early - yikes!! We are so so excited, but I also panic whenever I think about all the things left to do. But, we made great progress this weekend. We poked around Babies R Us on Friday night to start to narrow down some choices on big ticket items like cribs, strollers, and car seats. And then on Saturday evening after the disappointing Elon loss, we picked up our spirits by registering at Target! Brandon of course had fun with the scan gun, and I had fun looking at all of the choices!! I will admit, it was pretty overwhelming, but I know with the help of friends, and a little research, we will figure it all out. We plan to register at Babies R Us this coming Friday. Today after church we drove to Durham to go to BuyBuy Baby - so much better than Babies R Us!!!! I love that store, and wish they would open one in Greensboro. They opened a small version in Winston-Salem recently, but we decided to make the drive to Durham so we could see the full selection. And it was worth it, because we found our crib!! We had to order it, but went ahead and made the decision and purchased it today. It should be in within 8-10 weeks, or maybe sooner. But we will have it by New Year's at the latest hopefully. So, things are starting to come together :) And all along, I have been LOVING feeling baby girl moving all around inside me - so so awesome!!!
